You come to understand that becoming is a continuous process rather than a goal to be reached at some point between contemplation and serenity. For such a long time, I believed that one day I would be able to declare, “I’ve made it. I’ve arrived.” However, I realize now that there is no ultimate arrival. Evolution is all there is, just development. Only grace exists. Looking back at the little lady who dreamed free under the Rwandan sky, the young woman who connected two African families, and the woman who began over on new ground, I can see the same heartbeat in every version of me. It’s the rhythm of courage, the pace of hope, the whisper of tenacity that never left us—even when the load of the world felt unbearable.
Becoming that has taught me that transformation is not always blatant or noticeable. Occasionally, it’s the quiet mending of your heart following a loss. It’s forgiving oneself for what one didn’t know at that moment. It is becoming aware of the beauty of uncertainty and the significance of stillness. It’s the loving acceptance that you are adequate just as you are, with all your flaws and unresolved stories. And incomplete chapters.
I used to believe that I needed to constantly demonstrate my value, strive for goals, and seek outside confirmation. I’m happy to exist these days. I’m transforming into a woman who takes her time to grow gradually, profoundly, and deliberately. She believes that every obstacle taught her something, every deviation was a rerouting, and every conclusion was actually a quiet start.
The journey of becoming never ends because we never stop growing. Every sunrise offers a new layer of understanding and an opportunity to rewrite our tales with compassion and honesty. Additionally, I keep improving as a person, as an African, and as a soul that has traveled and built connections across borders. Keep one truth close: I am at peace with myself. I carry it with me everywhere I go; I no longer need to go back. It may be discovered in my laughter, in the way I express love, and in the daring greeting every new day. In the beauty of this life, I have found, is not in who I was or am now but rather in the becoming process: gentler, wiser, and freer. In the holy and ongoing process of becoming rather than who I will be.

Since each person has a different health path, what helps one person may not help another. Readers should consult their personal healthcare providers for personalized guidance based on their individual needs and circumstances. Rather than replacing the professional, my goal here is to inspire, enlighten, and start conversations that improve and make life more fulfilling relations between you and your medical staff.
these would be good topics to expand and have a complete book publication about your journey. prepare the mind for detailed chapters.
